Environmental Policy

Highlights of our Environmental policy:

"The focus of the environmental policy of SAFE4U is primarily to prevent environmental effects by avoiding health risks, maximizing energy efficiency, minimizing pollution and waste as well as choosing technology and working processes with minimal impact on the environment. Environmental impact is a critical decision factor prior to any investment. New projects and products must be evaluated in regards to potential environmental impact. Alternative with lower impact on health and environment must be prioritized in favor of similar alternatives. When this is not longer feasible or financially justifyable other solutions should be considered. Our customer must be informed about our environmental policy. Recycling of paper, printer cassettes and plastic products are of major importance. To ensure credibility of our environmental program frequent audits of compliance towards our policy should be made.

Purchasing office equipment is made in compliance to NUTEK/ the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency guidance to the "environmentally adapted office"

SAFE4U co-operates with Green Exit who collects worn out SAFE4U ballistic protection vests from customers when the ballistic guarantee period has terminated. The vests are destroyed and recycled according to ISO 1400. The customer is granted a certificate explaining how the destruction has been made and provided with an environmental report where the amount and type of waste is presented.
